INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE SolarisCare Foundation aims to improve the quality of life of cancer patients and their carers. Trained volunteers at each centre provide free complementary therapies such as massage, meditation, acupuncture, reiki and counselling services to help patients to cope with the emotional and physical side effects of cancer diagnosis, treatment & recovery. The drop in centres provide "soft places to land" for patients and carers
The fair is to raise funds for a new SolarisCare Centre in the southwest of WA. The fair is an inititiative of students from the John Curtin Leadership Academy from Curtin University., Perth. At the fair on Sunday September 26th there will be many handcraft artists showing their wares, as well as plant stalls, and, of course, many qualified practicioners who will be offering their complimentary therapies.
The SolarisCare
Bridgetown Fair
will be at Ford House, Eedle Terrace, Bridgetown on the
Blackwood River, and will run from 10am to 4pm on Sunday,
26th of September, 2010.
The SolarisCare Bridgetown Fair is a delightful opportunity to visit a historic garden, mingle with many therapists and for the family to enjoy themselves within the grounds.
