GARDEN WEDDING AT FORD HOUSE, BRIDGETOWN

In the middle of summer, there is no better place for a wedding than a garden. This wedding for 120 guests was held in the early evening, lit with a sky of stars and rows of fairy lights. Heaters warded any potential coolness in the evening.

The dinner was a smorgasbord, with an entree of turbans of smoked trout wrapped in salmon, the rare roast beef and turkey with five different salads. A choice of desserts followed, then coffee and chocolates.

Dancing went to the wee hours under the Albertine Pavillion at the end of the garden.
