Blackwood River Park |
On the banks of the river. At the southern
approach to the town, on the river, there is a shady picnic
ground with electric BBQs, clean toilets, parking, a wonderful
river walk, and launching area for small boats and craft. Every
second sunday, there are River Markets there, starting from 8am |

Bridgedale |
On the northeast bank of the Blackwood River,
this historic house, built in c1862 was the first house of
substance built in Bridgetown. It has been restored and vested
in the National Trust since 1969. Open Sat & Sun from 10am - 2pm
and public holidays. An admission fee applies. |

Brierley Jigsaw gallery |
Hundreds of
jigsaw puzzles collected since the 1950s, the largest collection
in WA, bequeathed to the Tourist Association by Jessie Brierley
in 1978. Open 9am-5pm in the Tourist Centre, every day. Entry by
gold coin. |

Holdworth Ecclesiastic Collection |
Gordon Holdsworth, one of Australia's leading
artists in the first part of the 1900's, lived and worked here,.
There a fine examples of his work at the Anglican Church, as
well as the the War Memorial. The lectern in the church won an
award at the British Exhibition in 1942 |

Suttons Lookout |
Off Phillips St., A 360 degree panoramic view
of the town may be seen from this lookout, which was built by
the rotary club. There is also an ABC satellite dish there. The
road is sealed and buses can turn around. |

The Cidery |
Cnr of Forrest and Gifford Rds , on the way
out to BoyupBrook. This celebrates the history of
Bridgetowns' apple industry. It uses pink lady apples to produce
its soft (non-alcoholic) cider as well as wines and alcoholic
beverages. There is also a heritage apple orchard with over 80
varieties of apples. Open Wed to Mon from 11am to 4pm. |

continuously running theatre in WA. |
